Smith & Milton: winners at the Chip Shop Awards!
Smith
& Milton have won ‘Best Packaging’ at the Chip Shop Awards 2010. This
prestigious and alternative award scheme celebrates conceptual work that never
ran.
Creative
Director Steven Anderson said, “It’s a great to have a showcase for all the ‘ones
that got away’. It’s also a nice boost for the creative juices and it’s a bit
of fun too”.
Founder
Howard Milton called it a “historic win, coveted more
highly because pure creativity is the only measure”.
Other winners include Saatchi & Saatchi, Archibald Ingall Stretton, Elvis and BBDO. The judging process was chaired by none other than Michael Wolff, demonstrating that the Chip Shop Awards is far from an underground event.
